Building the Creative Business

Who is the course for?
This well established and highly-respected course is offered to professionals currently working in growing creative businesses to help them take their business to the next level.

Why was it developed?
Most new ventures fail within the first three years and most failures are related to poor management. The average life span of an entrepreneurial venture in this country is only 24 months. It's at this point that a poorly conceived business strategy begins to ship water.

What is BCB?
In three separate three-day modules (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) over six months, Building the Creative Business is an integrative programme that concentrates on the general management challenges facing founders and managers of creative businesses after the start-up.

How good is it?
Our former delegates have rated the course an average of 4.6 out of 5 and 99% said they would recommend it to a colleague, so we are expecting a high volume of applicants.

What does it cost?
The course is heavily subsidised and costs just £2,500 per delegate. Pre-registration is currently taking place. We require minimum teams of two people from each business.

When is the next course?
The next course is scheduled to begin in April 2008. For further information please contact Dr Joan Burks on 0207 000 8179.

"If we hadn't attended the BCB course... we would have limited the speed of potential growth."
